This might not be ideal for some people but I hope to one day have a space like this. Seattle’s Steve Sauer who stands 6’2″ made a 182 square foot condo work for him, it looks very functional to me, i’m a fan of the space above his television and where he stores his bikes.

Just Stunning xx
That is damn cool!
While this is clearly affordable and manages space well, I’d get claustrophobic in such a small space. I would feel like need to be out of the condo constantly just to get some open space.
I don’t want to live in a hugh palace, but I definitely need some space.
That’s awesome =)
Levels Jerry, Levels!
Wow, what an incredible, considered space.
I also like the way he stores his bicycles. I understand that many people have multiple bicycles for different kinds of riding, but does anyone else find it kind of odd that a person who lives so simply owns 3?
I do enjoy these well designed spaces, but I feel they never fully address storage. Perhaps its addressing the problem of consumerism.
This is actually not far from where I’m at in Seattle—could be worth checking out. I’m 6’3″ though, it might be a tight fit.
Glad you posted this. I am now absolutely fascinated with pico-dwelling!
I wish there was a community of these homes already built, i’d move in today
Looks functional indeed, I would live there!
This space is beautiful. Nice find Jakub. Reminds me of a book I recently picked up. It’s full of small functional yet beautiful houses. It’s titled “Houses of Asia” by Feierabend. The book was published in 2003, but is full of detailed descriptions and photos of the houses.
I can imagine you’d have to be extremely disciplined to live in a space this tight. The smallest amount of clutter would seem overwhelming. Looks nice, though!
My friend showed me this tonight, and it reminded me of something you might post.
