This is like the archetype for every retro-styled with the synth-soundtracked logo build in and the crackly PBS voice over. Can’t believe this was made in 1980, would have guessed earlier from the quality.
I’m hearing a lot of Tomorrow’s Harvest (BoC) in that intro chime thing. Am I alone on that one?
This seems really consistent with the quality I remember from 1980. It wasn’t really too far off from 1978. I rather think of those three to four years, 77-80, as having similar style. Essentially those years informed my childhood the same way it did the Sandisons as we are basically the same age though I was influenced more by PBS and they the National Film Board. And we all had early sesame street.

that intro, to me, is way more black moth super rainbow than BOC.
