Jaw dropping photos. These are amazing!
Sometimes you feel as if you’ve seen it all in photography, and then you see something that reminds you that there are still people creating the truly sublime.

Uh, This is exactly what I need for inspiration. This is phenomenal and I can’t thank you enough for posting this. I just wrote to him for album artwork and commissioned work. WOW, I’m really blown away.

However, I do have one gripe with the post. At the end you mentioned that this is “astrophotography” and I think that’s somewhat inaccurate. Granted, celestial objects are prominent in the photos, but so are the landscapes, etc. I’d really put these under the more general umbrella of “night photography”, as astrophotography is usually a process involving a telescope, a CCD camera, filters, and a very different overall technique and goal (gathering color).

@Brian – Ha, no worries; I think my amateur interest in the subject led me to emphasize that aspect of his work, but I see your point. Thanks for clarifying.
