    the verve, yeah! 🙂
Brian Cannon was the last great cover artist of rock’n’roll. No more good cd covers since then…

For awesome cd covers, see anything done by Julian House (Stereolab, Broadcast, Primal Scream’s XTRMNTR & Evil Heat, all the Ghost Box stuff). His style is mad rad, Dad.

City Center is Fred Thomas of Saturday Looks Good to Me. He’s been keeping a blog and posting mp3s of new songs under the City Center moniker here:

The first full length is coming up soon. It was mixed with help from Warn Defever (His Name is Alive).

    Oh man!

My Latin teacher gave me the verve CD in high school, I fucking haven’t heard it in years. absolutely incredible. Thank you for the flashback.

Ahhhh Verve flashback. I’ve been jamming on the old Spacemen3 and Television this week so I guess adding a little Verve to the mix wouldn’t hurt.

I listened to A Storm in Heaven every day from 1993 until about 1995.

To say it was the soundtrack to my life at that time is an understatement.

Yah Biosphere is awesome! So is Verve. I guess I’m going to have to check out City Center.

Speaking of flashbacks. Recently listened to Boards of Canada. So good!
