Heading out tonight to ruin more of my hearing by seeing Carl Craig DJ after the My Bloody Valentine show the other night i’ll be deaf by Sunday. If any of you are in New York tomorrow Deaf Center from Norway are playing at Le Poisson Rouge, i’m super eager to see them live.

    yeah jakub, get some damn ear plugs. hearos are good. if you get the higher end ones at guitar center they have a filter so they attenuate all frequencies equally. so it’s not like it muffles or changes the sound, it just lowers the volume. they work great and yeah, hearing is one of the cooler things in life, just after seeing. breathing is up there too.

    the deaf center on type is one of my favourite albums of he last while, was hooked on it earlier in the year.

    The White Lake piece you’ve provided sounds so similar to Eric Satie’s Gymnopédies ( year 1888, france).

    I really enjoy it, and I am going to listen to the rest of their stuff.
