If you asked me years ago what would be my dream release to coordinate it would of been this one. Casino Versus Japan’s first album from 1998 reissued with ISO50 artwork?! I can’t think of anything better. Casino Versus Japan hasn’t released anything in nearly 6 years and having the honor last weekend to have him play a show with Tycho and now them working together on this release creatively, plus ISO50 merchandise on the way I think we will have ourselves something special that will be loved for many more years. The album consists of 23 songs split up in 4 parts full of some of the best drone and echoed guitar while the artwork by Scott has a gorgeous color palette with beautifully textured moons colliding and our friend faintly catching a wave in one of them. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on both the art and music on this one.
This release will be out on January 5th, 2010 on Moodgadget.
wow this is perfect. The artwork is amazing as usual i love the layout of the back. I’ve only just started listing to casino versus japan after hearing some tracks here. I was going to get the original album but now i think ill wait for this.
Wow beautiful artwork. Scott’s made purple sexy again.
a dream come true. bliss. kindred spirits. a beam of light peaking through the clouds and lighting the forest floor as a rare flower blooms. thank you!
This was meant to be! 😀
I can’t tell you how happy I am to see CvJ coming back alive. This release is perfect. I absolutely love the Blue Vacation tracks. And the artwork is excellent!
OMG.
fantastic.
my girlfriend is gonna love this.
an amazing album, just made even greater.
Have original CD. Need reissue on vinyl. Thank you Erik, Scott, and Jakub. Good stuff.
damn that is beautiful stuff
good call slofu, I have the original CD as well and would love to have a reissued double LP – one part per side.
i’m glad to see these two collaborating further, it certainly worked beautifully when ISO50 was doing the visuals for cvj at LPR.
i hope this doesn’t cancel cvj’s upcoming release though..
I third the vinyl request. Would be essential. I’ll even pre-order it.
The layout is nice. Very simple.
Already have the album, would love it in a new format.
A vinyl would be spectacular. It would cerainly make all my dreams come true.
would also kill for this on vinyl…
what is the correlation between the orange circles and the music of cvj?
Please, for the love of god, vinyl! This reissue *cries* for it. I don’t care how long it takes, or how much it eventually costs, I’d buy it in a heartbeat.
I’m just freakin’ blown away! To have CvJ collaborating with ISO50 is pure genius. The artwork suits the music so well. I love how the artwork is presented in a sort of Vin Diagram manner with the overlapping of the two circles having this pulsing soundwave-like effect on it. I guess I’m seeing the artwork playing as a literal representation of Casino vs. Japan on one hand and Scott’s beautiful interpretation of the music in art form on the other. Really great work, I can’t wait for this!
this is really nice, I am glad you have the new player so I can actually listen to all the music you post.
gah! except when you post a comment and it reloads the page!
Are you going to talk him into creating some new music?
Epic. What is the font used?
This is so elegant and beautiful.
Is the font used a variation of futura?
I believe it’s Gotham Medium, if it’s not I’d like to know what it is.
damn, son.
the music’s great (obviously) but that artwork is kinda kicking my eyes’ ass.
Jon Stovall says “Go Hawaii”, as he drinks his weak sauce!
Once again you knock one out of the park. Beautiful.
Font looks like a Proxima Nova weight of some kind (thanks, WhatTheFont).
gorgeous as usual 🙂
@Harley Turan, Thanks! Looks like the font is in fact Proxima Nova Semi Bold.
so nice!
I love the typography of your stuff. Subtly is a lost art when it comes to Underground music 🙂
Hi, what’s the name of the font you used here?
I must have this.
wait a second, is this strictly a digital release?
If we get enough digital sales i’ll press it on vinyl, the funds are close!
thanks for the response. that is excellent news. i’m sure the money would come back quickly. i can’t think of an album i’d rather own on vinyl.
so not even a CD version?
or is the plan do do it digitally first to help fund a CD or vinyl version. a digital reissue almost isnt like a reissue at all.
我觉得你的文章不错!继续加油!
Here’s one more vote to have it on vinyl. I would buy it in an instant.
Just bought the digital reissue. And I would absolutely buy a vinyl copy as well.
Im a bit gutted, what no cd release,i wouldn’t call a digital DL a reissue?? Now if there was a cd id buy it NOW!!!
You have to press this on vinyl too…. criminal not to!! My vote’s in

I’d even buy a similar, full on, re-issue of this S/T release like the Attack 9 label did with a Deluxe Edition of ‘Night On Tape’
Excellent! It was really informative.
Excellent! It was really informative. games
OMG! I love this… where can I get a copy???
Online slots are as excellent as real slots, sometimes even better. The stupendous graphics and sounds make you feel like sitting forward of real slot machine. See exactly how fortunate you are when you play Casino Slots.
I disagree with the comment about online slots being just as good as real slots. I am a slot tourney pro who travles the world playing slots and the reason I dont just sit at home and do it from the couch is that you have to pick slots that you have seen people play for a significant amount of time with not winning much at all, the longer you wit and wait in that person the better. If I go to an 8 hour tournament I probably only spend 3 hours actually playing and the other 5 scouting for machines.
There are a lot of benefits of an online casino that most people do not realize.
