When you visit All We Are’s soundcloud they describe themselves as “Bee Gee’s on diazepam” which is pretty spot on. CFCF massages this out in his natural spacious style, the 2nd half is where the magic happens and vox really opens up and layers over the CFCF treatment nicely.

‘Keep Me Alive’, the supple, dreamily captivating single from Liverpool’s All We Are has been remixed by a crew of talented peers – UK producer Lxury (Greco-Roman), Los Angeles-based dream rock band Warpaint, and Montreal electronic composer CFCF. This 4-track bundle, featuring the original version plus the 3 remixes, is available today digitally on Double Six / Domino.

I recently had the opportunity to design some album art for Artisan Loyalist on the upcoming full-length album, Lonely Ghost, and the recently released teaser, The Ace EP. Initially, the artwork for The Ace EP was derived from pieces of the Lonely Ghost design: the gem-like cluster started in Illustrator as basic flat shapes that I had worked into 3D, and then overtop, layered a large number of photos I had taken to get the various textures.

This is the premiere streaming release of the the track Light Trail. Lonely Ghost is set to release on Tuesday, February 24th 2015 on Sky Council Recordings, and you can pre-order now on iTunes and Amazon.

Slowly all the summer pool jams are being accumulated, this one from Studio’s Dan Lissvik is without a doubt an automatic on the daytime playlists of 2015.

A big room boy just popped up this morning, George Fitzgerald reworks a favorite from Jon Hopkins. The results are a heavy and deep cut that is our first glimpse of this years summer jams.

Our good friend Praveen is back at with his smooth Braille alias after a short hiatus going full Sepalcure. The EP is a solid listen all the way through, taking apart his organic sound structures and delivering selections for the dancefloor and even some for those lonely nights.

On February 10, Praveen Sharma aka Braille (one half of Sepalcure) will arrive on Friends of Friends with the Everyone’s Crazy EP. Utilizing an organic sound palette and a vast repertoire of on the cusp production techniques, Braille’s first release on FoF positions the Brooklyn-resident at the fore of sultry, beat-based music that doesn’t shy away from letting the listener into the interior world of Sharma himself. Everyone’s Crazy will function as the precedent to Braille’s forthcoming full-length debut, Mute Swan, coming Spring 2015!
