We’ve only supported/shared a handful of Kickstarter projects in the past, I always want to do more but its best wait for some of the best ones or ones that friends do that catch our eyes. This one by Matthew Waldman from Nooka is a pretty great idea since I see soo much coffee grounds go in the trash and a compost in an office environment isn’t the best always. I’ll let the video do the talking, support below.

This is a great share! Thanks! I wish more companies strived for those kind of values.

  2. Pacôme says:

He is talking about resins in the video which is, no doubt, coming from chemical / petroindustry.
Another eco-marketing product, to aware fake eco consciousness.
Btw, the chamfers on his cubic-recipienties look nice.

I saw this on a few sites now and its one of those things you wish you could’ve invented. Ingenious. Simple. Beautiful. Honored Matt used our Crozet track for the kickstarter video.

Imagine all the coffee grounds they could get daily from starbucks…

@Pacôme—aren’t there better non-toxic epoxy ricin out there that they can use? Do you know an alternative method? If they can find a better way to hold it together than it’s a great little upcycle product. If not, best solution is for everyone to stop drinking coffee so we can stop polluting the ocean with our highly concentrated caffeinated pee. Doubt that would happen though…

Any track id for the video?

Soooo you pay $35 for…a flower pot? Sorry but this is dumb. I mean, yeah, neat idea, but I doubt it is going to have any effect unless it is mass produced, not marketed exclusively to “creative professionals” for anything about $5.

Why isn’t a composting container okay in an office environment? We’ve done it, and it’s a non-issue.

Lovely stuff here! Friend of mine a made espresso cups out of the same materials. used ground coffee & resin. was a beautiful project. I could only find some photos on his blog –> http://hellojulian.com/blog/?p=270

However I am experiencing troubles with your RSS.
I don’t understand the reason why I cannot subscribe to it. Is there anyone else getting the same RSS problems? Anyone who knows the answer will you kindly respond? Thanks!!

  12. Greetings folks, im a bit of a zombie junkie. I personally was looking at this post and I genuinely enjoyed reading it.
It has got some significantly decent ideas for me to process.
I have got to say, I’ve truly become lonely presently simply because my best friend is no longer around. Web browsing the online world provides me with just a little piece of mind though. I’d like to give thanks to you just
for this important web-site blog post which helps
to pass on the message related to zombies even more! I
actually was thinking about if you have got an e-mail list in order
to always keep up-dated at this site.
