I just put together this flyer for Tycho Toronto show at the Drake, which, as it turns out, is a free show as part of Scotiabank Nuit Blanche. I’m not sure if they’re printing them or if it’s web only.
Hope to see some of you out: Seattle 9/26, NYC 9/29, Toronto 10/02
That is beautiful. You’re type treatment is always the best.
Gorgeous. I’d come!
what album are you going to be playing? Should I come over?
simply beautiful !
I am so excited for this. Thank you for making beautiful art and music.
looks really nice! maybe one day you can do a tutuorial of your photo techniques for photoshop before it goes out of style again. id really like to see how you do the process.
So dank! Autumn design in full effect.
That flyer is sick man, nice work.
So, maybe I missed this in another post or something… but is there a resource you have for the killer photos like this that you know of? are they old postcard/record cover scans, or what?
I’m wondering the same about the photos. Do you have the rights to repurpose them?
Really enjoy the feeling put out by those photos, what size is this?
I will be there in NYC,won’t miss it!
cheers
This is great great Scott! keeping with the organic flavor! I know you want to get a canon slr but i think you should get a Leica. You cannot duplicate the warmth of analog synths or analog cameras (even though your work is the closest i have seen.)
Just found out I’m playing all three shows now and not just Seattle. See ya there!
dat art
been trying to hear your music live for two years. this year i will be there!
Although I’m working the night of Nuit Blanche, I’m sure the show is going to be amazing. Toronto sort of goes a little bonkers that night.
loving the seasonal mood tone. Really beautiful work….type setting genious.
Oh I’m really lovn’ this one.
It kind of looks like outside my window, colorful but this grey kind of mood. Autumn is here for sure in Norway so.
That photo is from the band Yarn Owls cassette release. Love the poster, and Yarn Owl is great too
wow! from Kyoto
that looks like windows in a japanese traditional old house which i just took photo couple weeks ago! http://www.flickr.com/photos/yukiashida/5030771552/
so the place looked like traveling kyoto for me haha
This is gorgeous. I’d pay to own it in some form.
great art work! really looking forward to seeing you in Toronto, cant wait!
J-
the source — which was apparently coincidentally used by the band you referenced — is from a circa 1970 issue of National Geographic I have.
I really like this cover Scott
