So we’re finally in Toronto for the final Ghostly show tomorrow. The Drake Hotel has put us up in the Artist Apartments next door which actually have internet, which has been a rare commodity on this trip. Sam and I were sitting here looking through his favorite saved images and he pulled up the Peter Saville designed New Order poster above. So nice, I looked it up and found this other FAC88 poster — reminds me a lot of this. The top one is all you Alex.

Oh man. YES. The top one is the best thing that ever happened. It won’t go in my inspriation folder, it will get one of its own titled “THE Poster.” Awesome.
Awesome New Order poster such a good band.
Top one kind of reminds me of a project I did recently called The Wayfarer’s Edition, most obviously through those shapes. I can’t wait to start working with poster sizes large enough to allow me to size text down so much in proportion of titling and other elements…but I always have to be careful with flyers not to compromise readability.
