These are great examples of good, simple geometric designs… beautiful. Thanks for posting and for the tip on that Tumblr, Jonathan!

As for future posts, I’d love to see a collection of old LP art. Well-known, obscure, whatever.
I just picked up a used copy of The Alan Parsons Project’s “Pyramid” album, and was stoked to find a foldout poster featuring the full album art… needless to say, I’m feeling particularly inspired on that front.

Always digging the weekend inspiration posts. I do love when you guys showcase a TED talk or other video that “inspires” as well.

Perhaps tie in some more videos alongside the design work methinks?

Also, Jakub killed it the last two audio posts.

Check-out Vasarely (Viktor). His art is a precursor to many of some contemporary artists.

@Vince – Vasarely is one of my all time favorites. When Rising Paper was still run by my grandfather, my dad did some consulting for his lithographs. I have a copy of this which I’ll take to the grave with me: http://www.studio411.com.au/Studio411/Victor_Vasarely_files/V001.jpg

@Rory, NICE!! I live in Switzerland and upon my gallery visits, I came across Editions du Griphon (in Neuchatel). They did serious work with Soto, Vasarely and the works. The Editions was sold off to a french investor but on that particular day, and also because we know the owner of the Editions, we were given right to choose amazing covers/litho, not the originals 🙁 and Editions docu books, of vArious arts of the same author and they are truly phenomenal works. Keep yours neatly in the silk… very nice!!

Of Soto, one of my favorites is the suspended sun, made of poly strings… quite a Tycho scenery
