Geotic+Brothertiger+ClueToKalo+Kleeer

If you haven’t already checked out Baths side project Geotic then you’re missing out on some of the best FREE calming music out there. I guess he reached 20,000 fans on facebook *walks around like a boss* and decided to gift a new EP to all of us, download it here.

Brothertiger follows the footsteps of Washed Out and early Toro Y Moi but with a lil more freedom when it comes to sugarcoated synths, I guess he plays in Brooklyn at the end of next month, definitely going to check him out.

I was a big fan of Clue To Kalo, I think I liked it way more than Postal Service when all of this stuff was popular in the early 2000’s, this CD stuck around and a few songs especially let my mind roam around while I sat and worked.

**Throws it into 4th and pulls onto a coast side road and puts the top down, lets Kleeer take it home**

Brothertiger actually goes to my college (Ohio U) so I’ll see him around all the time. He just came out with a new track that I’ve had on repeat for the past week. You can hear it/buy at his bandcamp. Definitely worth a listen.

MMmm more Geotic makes me a happy camper. Just in time for summer. This Brothertiger track is great, the first few seconds are awesome and totally misleading, I like the direction he went for, so good. Thanks for the bandcamp link Patrick, I’ll be keeping an eye out for more of his tunes..

The Geotic track is just beautiful in its gentle rythm and atmospheric piano. And I agree with Porto Novo (above) that the opening to Brothertiger is surprising misleading, but then the synth and piano kicks in to support the dreamy vocals. Love the selections Jakub: keep more of this variety coming!

    “Throws it into 4th”

Throws what into 4th? This is important!

The Brothertiger track has easily become my new musical obsession. (I go through this love spiral on a monthly basis.) Today during classes I couldn’t stop playing the track in my head, so I played it for my students at the end of the day while they were working quietly. One boy moved from the back of the room to the front next to my desk to have a closer listen. The kids enjoyed it, but I’m glad Admin. didn’t walk in during the song (they’re constipated about things like that.) Thanks Jakub.

I think the photo is staged. It’s a well-known fact that robots of that era preferred the saxophone and the nylon string guitar.
