UPDATE: The position has been filled, thanks to everyone who submitted their work!
Over the past year a lot of outstanding web tasks have cropped up and I really need to get a lot of them taken care of. I used to handle all this myself but my technical skills are definitely slipping and I just don’t have the time to keep up on this stuff anymore. I’ve talked to people about contracting them to do the projects, but they’re just too small and scattered to be worthwhile to most agencies / developers.
The gig would certainly net you some shirts and posters, linking / credit on the site, and all the recommendations you could ever want.
Geographical location is not an issue.
Desired Skills:
* HTML / DHTML / Javascript (Ajax?)
* Knowledge of sIFR and how to implement
* Knowledge of the WordPress platform (the .org installed variety)
* Strong Knowledge of PHP
* Strong Knowledge of CSS
* Flash Knowledge (particularly relating to audio)
If you have the time and a good mix of some or all of the skills listed above, please contact me at talk [at] iso50 [dot] com. Be sure to include some examples of your work / portfolio and any other pertinent details. This would be pretty light work, around 10-20 hours per month max and possibly only for a limited time.

Damn my shitty web skills! DAMN THEM! I’m a big fan of ISO and Tycho and I’m pretty much kicking myself silly right now, cursing my printmaking education and yearning for better web-design skills… Good luck with your search! Can’t for Obama! btw. I dug the Yuri’s Night set (since I never commented on it before.)
I would absolutely love to work with you, but just like Andres, my webskills are seriously lacking.
There is some serious talent on this blog, I’m sure someone will step up to the plate.
I absolutely agree on the fact that it is getting harder and harder to stay in the loop. The rate at which technological innovations are introduced is making it tougher for designers to excel and be all-rounders. Specialization seems to be the only way to go. But that takes most of the fun out of the equation, doesn’t it?
Is it safe to assume you don’t mind it if people are working from another part of the country and/or world?
derek-
yeah, location is *not* an issue.
Hey Scott,
Fired you off an email last night. Sorry if it reads like a cover letter or cv, I was stuck reading a bunch of those yesterday and they may have rubbed off a tad.
Cheers,
+dk

Hey Scott,
Just came across this post today. If for whatever reason it doesn’t work out with your chosen person, feel free to hit me up as I would be more than willing to offer my services.
*btw this is the Ryan that used to sit next to you at Buk
