I made a new mix for you guys to download under my alias Heathered Pearls, this will hold you off while Scott puts the finishing touches of a new playlist: Playlist 11
I wanted to describe this mix by just making up 4 new genres:
Dreamfuzz / VHS Quality / Water Hypnotization / Space Synth
As always thanks for listening, this mix is probably my favorite one i’ve ever made, it nails down the definition of what I want to hear in my head all the time.

eyes closed, i know its good, and i love the surprise … kudos jakub.
@Sawa would love to know what you think of it after you’re done listening
Language Barrier is such an underrated album. Good to see a track posted here. Excellent mix.
Good mix Jakub. Loving the track selection.
Ha ha, VHS Quality. The funny thing is that I love the quality of a VHS tape. I have little collection of top films on VHS. My copy of Virgin Suicides goes in and out of black and white and other things like that. Its not the best film ever but watching it at 2 in the morning with no lights, on a crappy VHS really made it for me.
Unfortunately my Clerks snapped when my brother was watching it for the first time. It was so funny because it was right at the end and he still has no closure. Probably the best film to watch on VHS
Wow this is just about the best mix I’ve heard in a while. It encompasses all the music I love without that annoying song jammed in there somewhere. Well I mean they all usually fit and work with each other but there always seems to be that one song that just goes on for too long and repeats an ear piercing beat or something like that.
Don’t get me wrong, I still love those estranged songs, sometimes I go on a hunt for that type of song, but it can sometimes take away from a good mix
wow, this mix is very entrancing..top work!
which software do you use to blend the songs together into a mix like this?
“I wanted to describe this mix by just making up 4 new genres:

Definitely on to something there. It’s funny how even with such an abstract description, I know exactly what to expect with this mix now.
Funny how the VHS tape aesthetic is totally in right now. Anyone that has listened to Durlin Lurt’s “Him Jenson” knows what im talking about.
Superb Jakub, really digging that dolphins into the future album. And caravalle may be one of thebest things Legowelt has ever done. The sound of inside your head is a pretty much on the button sentiment, the perfect accompaniment to the crispy spring mornings we’re having here in (usually wet) Ireland.
Glad you guys are liking it
@Rob J this one I tried out Ableton, i’ve done some all vinyl and a mixture of CDs and computer, i love the control of volume with Ableton though especially if you’re not beat matching but instead trying to make parts make sense together.
@Barry those are my 2 favorite songs on the mix, they kind of make the mix
@Jon checking out Him Jenson today
@Graham I gotta watch Clerks now, love that you still have a VHS player, I just threw mine away 7 months ago
thanks Jakub, this was a really good listen. Made my work-day
Awesome mix Jacob. You should open up the tracking for “Heathred Pearls” on your your tumblr 😉
@Michael whats the tracking?
The tracking as in the the spaces between the letters; it’s too tight – just nit picking, i’ve been in studio all day. While I have your attention, have you ever heard of Koto? They are an italian synth band from the 80s.
I really enjoy all your post!
I love the first track-sounds like nature, pure nature. Could listen to that all day and wouldnt get bored.
