sweet playlist. love the ratatat song most!!
The whole playlist idea is such a great addition to this already excellent blog. I love that old Mountains track. Anyone heard their new album?
thanks! just what i needed on a rainy monday morning at work!
great playlist…
yeah jon, I’ve been listening to the new Mountains album for a few days now and it’s very nice/mellow.
These playlists are fantastic!
yums! thanks bear! <3
Nice list, been meaning to check out that Cloudland Canyon album for years now it seems. The new Mountains album is great indeed!
Thanks so much for all you guys do.
The 2 image is quite possibly one of my favorite things you’ve made. Just an excellent example of bad assery.
I can’t take all the credit for this one, Scott added some heat there at the end.
I was just listening to it and half way thru Animal Collective I tried to Droplet that damn nice cover(that is just too too good) and Dropular messed up my listening session I had going by stalling out and not letting me even share, I guess i’ll just start the tracklist from the beginning.
This playlist was all built around what I wanted to hear with the song Tin Man by America as a hidden gem later in the mix on a Monday morning but without going down the AM Gold route for an hour, which isn’t a bad thing at all.
as always ~ musical peak!
thanks for skalpel… our international pride : ]
and here you have chosen my top fave track made by this duo…
wonderful selection, beautiful packaging….thank you.
UGGGGHHHH. NA NA NA
This should keep me entertained all week at work!
THANKS
Ok Jakub, where can I get my hands on the M83 “You Appearing (Addled edit)”. I’ve looked all over and I can’t find it on any online store.
The America addition was a nice surprise. Instantly prompted me to search for the song to add to my other random America collection. I just bumped into the Ghostly Swim album (yea I know I’m outta the loop here)….really tight stuff.
“This playlist was all built around what I wanted to hear with the song Tin Man by America”
CAN’T THINK OF A BETTER WAY TO MAKE A MIX. that song is brilliant.
If I could be at home (and not at work) practicing this very activity, what would I choose as my base song? (BEST question I’ve asked myself all day)
At the moment I think I’d choose Nadadora by Family (Spain, 1993)..get a little New Order in there, a little Bridal Shop..

This is an awesome playlist. I especially love how you have Skalpel. They’re are overlooked far too often in the Ninjatune catalog of artists.
Jay Williams –
Its unreleased, I just asked Addled one day to do an edit of it for me because I wanted to start a DJ set out with it and he did it in like 30 mins, here it is:

So inspirational, I find my art style leaning towards yours lately…
Not copying, of course.
How about keep the old playlists archived somewhere?

i just have to comment again. 2nd day listening to this new list. Thanks again for letting me give my pandora stations a rest while at work.
