Amazing design. I wish I could have a house with that many nooks and crannies, each purposefully built and aesthetically pleasing. Amazing vista overlooking the city. Would be a sweet place to crash for a week.

To be serious for a moment, I have actually had the privilege of living in the same sort of style of house here in Switzerland, extreme contemporary dating from the ’60s. The issue is that contemporary houses from that era are like classic cars from the 60s and 70s. You need a large annual and initial budget (beyond the purchase price) for the constant upkeep and restoration. They seem nice from afar, but they are actually old and dark in the detail. I honestly today prefer the airy, light modern designs and materials from today.

That’s THE “NBA Superfan”! His name is James Goldstein and he’s a multi-millionaire (thought to be from a successful real estate career) and he attends over a hundred NBA games per season, mainly Lakers and Clippers games. I see him courtside via TV on what seems like a regular basis.
