LA: Proofing Obama

DSC_0094
I’m sitting at San Francisco International right now waiting to fly out to Los Angeles to proof the Obama poster. I’ve got the Epson soft proof in hand (pictured above) and it’s looking good color-wise; here’s hoping they can match that with the litho. I’ll be getting a lot of shots of the process while I’m down there and, from what the campaign told me, I’ll be able to start releasing pictures of the poster within a week as long as everything goes well today. I plan on doing an in depth study of the whole process with images from various stages of the production from concept to finished product, I’ll be posting that here once the print is finished and as soon as I get the go-ahead from the campaign.

    I’m excited to see it. However, do you REALLY think that Obama is a GOOD option? What does he stand for? “Change” How come he doesn’t define that change? I have looked into him and he stands for nothing. Great speaker w/no substance. Please inform me if you can.

    Thanks!

    @Jason

    You can read detailed information regarding his ideas/policies, what they will do and how they will be enacted/funded at

    http://www.barackobama.com/issues/

    Or, you can download his “Blueprint for Change”, a 64 page document also available on his website that details that sort of information.

    The “all talk and no substance” argument is moot.

    I think what it comes down to is who has got the best personality. Who’s got that special spark in their eyes that can inspire people to come together and work together. I think Obama’s got that special something. He’s far more appealing than the other candidates imo.

  18. yeah Jason. All europeans like Obama so Obama can count on our (very helpfull) support.

    Not.

    I’m from Australia and I can say that I know nothing about the two candidates… and I really dont give a rats. What I do know is I’ll be contributing to the Obama campaign because I’ll be buying this poster!! 😛
