After years of digging around for interesting posters it’s easy to foolishly assume I’ve seen everything good there is to see. Then I come across work like that of Italian designer Mimmo Castellano and am once again reminded that you’ve never really seen it all. The images are from this GrainEdit post where, unfortunately, they do not mention the source. I would love to find which book they got these scans from, or better yet, where I can get my hands on some full size prints. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know.

I couldn’t agree with you more! I’ve been seeing the top design everywhere on the web lately and I want to say I even ran across it briefly on grainedit. I’m glad you did because I might have never seen the other gems! I’m currently working on the design for SEMF 2011 and these are a starburst of inspiration. Thanks for the post!
These are golden. WIth the expo’s its been so easy to get locked in searching for stuff just in the US. But now, with knowing about these italian designs, looking elsewhere makes a whole lot of sense.
The first and last would make great wall posters.
For sure it would make great posters!
Let us now if you find them …
