To me, the reason why I love this logo is because I see a suggested lowercase n within the left symmetry and the implied m within the overall graphic. Even though Nakamichi is one word, phonetically the emphasis is on the Naka and the Michi. The play of symmetry of the negative and positive space is also very well done. It’s minimal but maximizes it’s graphic intent and meaning.

yeah, the “n” is definitely apparent in there. it also sort of conjures the idea of a volume knob for me.
