This looks more promising than what I was picturing it in my head to be and its gets me excited again to see something twisted and dark by Tim Burton who has fallen down my favorite directors list over the years. What doesn’t look good is the new Robin Hood trailer, yikes!

2. Edward Scissorhands
3. Beetlejuice

Robin Hood trailer shows nothing we haven’t seen before… yawn Mr. Ridley Scott, yawn.
Looks good…but I’m afraid of Disney reigning in Tim Burton too much on this one. Gotta disagree with you big time on Robin Hood, Ridley Scott + Russell Crowe = Awesome.
Used to be a Burton fan, not excited for this movie. He needs to stop making adaptations. I have faith in Robin Hood, even though the teaser blewww.
Robin Hood looks like a “300” but in the woods but these guys actually have clothes on
Tim Burton has been messing up but I try to come into every movie with a new head and find the magic he brings to details and ladnscapes, its hard to forgive him for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, its like taking back your wife after she cheated on you
Gotta say that for me, Tim Burton’s best is Big Fish, a film where Burton’s classic oddities were in service of a fantastic story, rather than in service of itself.
And I agree with Pants. Ridley Scott was doing the slow motion thing long before Zack Snyder so making comparisons to 300 really isn’t fair or appropriate. As teaser’s go, it’s selling “Russell Crowe” is in this film. I am confident the full trailer will deliver the goods.
This really doesn’t interest me at all. It looks too predictable. Once you’ve done weird in so many ways already, any future version of weird just looks the same as before.
