Penguin Cafe Orchestra, founded in 1972 by classical musician and composer Simon Jeffes, is the epitome of springtime, and nothing short of pure class. Their first album was produced and released by Eno under his “Obscure” label.

Penguin Cafe Single sounds so damn familiar, but as far as I can tell it hasn’t been used in anything I’ve seen in film or television.
Gosh, I must have encountered it somewhere though. Or maybe it’s the most immediate composition ever.
