Two of my favorites!
Dude. Han Solo’s blaster is making feel the pangs of nostalgia. I had that very one. Awesome post.
Whatup…funny you should mention that gun…I have been selling off my vintage SW collection on eBay (slowly) and that particular piece went to a chap in the UK:
Han Solo Blaster w/ ESB sticker (1980)
You may (or may not) recall the following item (also recently sold) from the counter tops of the infamous World Fare (circa 1996, USF lampus):
SW:SE Lays/Doritos giveaway promo display (1996)
By the way, have you ever checked out Kanye West’s blog? Maybe its a commonly known thing but aside from him having a place to bitch about bad reviews of his shows, and when he doesn’t win grammy’s, he appears to chronicle fairly well designed flats and hotels around the world (which I’m assuming he is lucky enough to afford). Long story short, I was surprised that he spent as much time as he did devoted to design and style elements of not only clothes/fashion but architecture, etc. Surprised…
Good to hear from you bro! Thanks for the shout. peace

For heads who care to know, the SW sticker signaled the older model (1977) and the ESB was later (1980). I think they made a ROTJ as well (1983) and the only thing that ever changed was the sticker and the date imprint in the plastic. The Star Wars model is the most expensive of the 3 and can still be had “loose” for $50 or less…no box.
By the way, check out the old Graflex flash tubes (basically the original lightsaber design w/ few modifications)…eBay Item # 130217796861
