Sonar and GravitĂ© by Renaud Hallee. Both are ridiculously awesome. Make sure to watch Sonar until at least 1:17, that’s my favorite part. Mega simple ideas like these are endlessly satisfying to me (especially when executed this well). I want to see more from Renaud! Both of these are almost a year old now, would love to see what he’s been up to recently.
Wow! I remember back in design school one of my teachers banging on about how amazing graphic design can be when set in motion (ie; Len Lye) but it’s not until you see something like this that you really appreciate it! Also, I don’t know if was intentional but these two sequences seem to really gel when played together… cheers Alex!
These are great! Simple awesomeness as you say 🙂
WOW! Absolutely tantalizing!
Great work !
Gravité reminds me of this flash game called Boomshine
h in an recorded and evolved version.
Or playstation Rez.
Those were awesome. How did he get the timing so PERFECT??
Amazing! I would guess they time the drops to the beat by setting the clip to when the ball makes the sound and then just fitting the rest of the clip in where it does.
This is amazing. Better than a lot of music videos out there.
Not nearly as cool as “Sonar,” but in the same vain. http://www.coolhunting.com/tech/solar-beat.php
Wow, those are PRIME!!
Now that first one is quite something. Around 0:50 is really cool along with 1:20 or so.
Both are rad but the first one has something really special about it.
Stunning! I found GravitĂ© to be quite fun — especially at the time when there’s just three ping pong balls bouncing around hehe.
simply amazing.
