Beautifully designed functional business cards designed by Katharina Hölzl for jazz duo Ritornell. The laser-milled cards play back music when ran through a specially designed music box. Very clever take on the idea of a calling card.
And for good measure here is a shot of Ritornell’s studio. Looks like a pretty serious setup…
would love to get my hands on these! for more ritornell, check out this podcast they did.

Oh, i wish this would be our studio! It’s in fact Patrick Pulsinger’s very neat place. Altough our collection is pretty decent too in the meanwhile 😉
Absolutely marvelous! I really appreciate when creative people can achieve something so unique that really portrays and is symbolic of what they do. Great post Scott!
Nice mix! Golden Solitude is a great album as well Mr. Ritornell.
Thanks your kind words!! 🙂
Question : ….Is that a Lemur below is left hand ?
