Sepalcure+Shigeto+Software+T. Shadow

I’m always pushing Sepalcure to everyone that I know, recently they did a remix for School Of Seven Bells, it has a great early Stereolab feel mixed in with some Bonobo, download it at XLR8R for free.

I did a collab song with Shigeto, i just brought him an array of warm tones and explained to him that I don’t want to do try and write drums for it and that he should try and he did a wonderful job I think, grab it at Shigeto’s bandcamp for free.

I was snooping around on Beamer’s last.fm and found some gems by Software, this sound rides a thin line for most people, if you can get over the hump of it being too smooth and take it in for what it is then you end up with a pretty damn good listening session.

You know what i’d love is a new Twin Shadow album for the summer, i’m wearin’ this one thin, I love it soo much.

Love it all! Does Software have a website? It’s too vague a term to search…

absolutely with you on Twin Shadow. hoping to see him live friday night!

  5. Grrrrrreat stuff! Shigeto is one of my many favorites from the Ghostly family. It was a real treat to hear your collaboration. And the warm sounds provided remind me of the sound that first hooked me to this site in the first place.

PS: I’m shopping for an entry level vinyl record player. Don’t know if this is the appropriate forum, but because I highly respect the music selections here, I would also respect suggestions about a record player. Things to know before any gracious suggestions: A) Recently got laid off from Borders books, so the budget is slim. I discovered the brand Rega and Pro-ject, but unfortunately their entry level is a little more than I want to spend right now. B) I’m not an intense audiophile. I just want something to play my records and keep me warm through my job hunting.

    Thank you Jakub!

Damnnnn, I am digging the hell out of all these tracks. I gotta move out to SF after I get back from Japan, clearly. All the stuff I wanna hear is happening out there.
