Stockholm Epilogue

Thanks to everyone who came out to the workshop last night.  I had a great time and it was a pleasure meeting so many people who are so passionate about art and design.  Thanks also to Gimlet, SMUG, Grafiskt Forum, and Adobe for having me out and hosting the event. I hope to return soon, it was truly an honor to be able to speak here in Stockholm.

It was interesting, and it was nice to get a personality to associate with all the beautiful artwork. Hope you enjoy your day in Stockholm!

Unfortunately I was unable to participate, but I hope that you next time not only visit Stockholm, but also Gothenburg as also that city has a vibrant art and design culture. Take care until next time!

  6. Hey Scott!
Great workshop last night. Great source of inspiration. Great to hear the story behind some of your works.

When you guys return, make sure to come in the summer. Stockholm is gorgeous that time of year.

    Cheers!

I wish I could have attended! There doesn’t happen to be some sort of transcript/video from the event, is there?

  8. Alan says:

Ah wow! If there is any footage or media from the event, I’d love to see it too. That must have been really neat, the picture with all your work spread out on the table makes me wish i was there : )

  9. The journey from Kolding, Denmark to Skanstull, Stockholm was definitely worth the long sleepless hours! I’ve experienced a once-in-a-lifetime event, that I’ll never forget. Thanks so much!

This coming week, I will be writing on a post for my blog about the workshop, so be sure to check in and comment if you will. I’m thinking it’ll be posted next week sometime…

Also, I’ll be editing the large amount of video footage I’ve got from the journey – It’ll be on YouTube sometime, but I can’t really say when. I really want to put a lot of work into it – both to promote you Scott, and of course also to promote the great initiative from Stockholm Multimedia User Group and Grafiskt Forum who made this happen. Nice one you guys! And you’re all a friendly bunch too 😀 So good luck with any future events. I’ll be sure to check in on the forum every now and then.

Well, nothing else to say now but: Good luck with the cheese Scott!

It’s the least to thank Scott and all the guys involved in the event to have brought such an invaluable source of inspiration. To see somebody, so passionate about the things he does it’s quite uncommon nowadays!
I hope Scott will be around Europe really soon for a new round of conferences/talks, if anybody has the chance to attend it’s definitely worth going!

    Cheers!
    Renzo

  12. It was nice to see the man behind the graphics, and very interesting to hear where you get your inspiration.

Looking forward to see what the future holds for you!

Am I the only one that wanted to hear some tycho?!
Scott, your graphics work is amazing, but so is your music! Come back and tell us how you make your music!

  14. Marcus –> Oh yeah, I was also looking forward to the Tycho performance which never took place… But still, the workshop alone was superb!
