Lists this year are all over the place, a lot of main stream rap, a ton of half baked selections, really good techno and a happy surprise to see a lot less of the soft boy beat stuff that clogged up the festivals, which makes me overwhelmingly happy. Here’s a few musicians that most of you know but made my year very enjoyable because of a DJ set, live set or a very well done short documentary about them, enjoy!

I made a youtube playlist with everything except Falls (which is stunningly gorgeous by the way).

Wow Palmbomen is blowing my mind!
Love Falls, Palmbomen, and Nina Kraviz. What a playlist!!!
Those Palmbomen promo videos are so dope. It could be a new genre of music – if those philosophical ramblings were actually part of the tracks – it could the equivalent of actors staring into the camera while filming – taking the viewer out of the immersive nature of the medium for a moment – and changing the perspective. The Office did this really well – tho it is comedic not philosophical.
