This song is exactly what I wanted to hear from Tycho. It’s so cool to see the progression from Past Is Prologue to Dive to this stuff. All of it is good, but everything keeps building on each other. New elements are being added in and making it better and better. The artwork is wonderful. The visual that Scott puts with the music makes it so much more real and vibrant. Great stuff, i’m excited for this stuff to drop next year.
Please, please, please tell me when the album is out next year.

I was just thinking how I can listen to this and know that it is Tycho without seeing the artist’s name, at the same time it is a new sound. Kudos on evolving your sound while staying true to style.
Those muted guitar lines remind me in some ways of the xx, but also have a faint surf-rock feel to them.

Hey Jakub. Haven’t been here for a year or so – just came back after hearing Awake on Soundcloud. Damn – it is crazy good. Sucked I missed Scott on his brief Aussie tour earlier in the year… looking forward to the next visit.

I first heard that track last summer when Tycho was at Camp Bisco, and again in the fall when he came to Philly. I fell in love with this song live.
I dont know the official name of the track, but have read that it is called ‘Horizon’
